There are many reasons why technology is actually making drivers complacent and less alert as cited in this article. One even more important reason to use a stick shift, first brought to our attention by real estate closing attorney Jill Daniels, is that your young drivers (and experienced drivers too) can’t text and drive at the same time when using a stick shift!
