How to read Hurricane Maps.
According to the National Hurricane Center the contents contain the path of the storm center only 60-70% of the time. The New York Times explains and illustrates why it is important that those near the cone need to be prepared because one out of three times the center of the storm will be outside the boundaries of the cone. Click here to read more.
