Developments in smart cameras and online home security systems have the potential to radically alter how we monitor our homes, and dramatically reduce the costs while adding simplicity. Butterfleye is the latest in a crop of exciting new products to watch which include Nest and Dropcam. We haven’t made any endorsements but are watching these products closely. One caveat is that any product which operates on the web may have security vulnerability and any installation should be reviewed with a competent internet security expert.
