Sarah began her career at Chartwell in 2015. Before joining the Chartwell team, Sarah attended the American University in Washington, DC where she received a BA in History and Art History with a minor in American Studies, having completed a thesis in the history of American fine art repatriation in WWII. Sarah also attended Sotheby’s Institute in London where she studied decorative art and the international collections market and Columbia University where she studied art authentication, Post-War American art, and American Art History.
Beyond her work at Chartwell, Sarah is engaged with the Art Institute of Chicago (Society for Contemporary Art), Chicago Council on Global Affairs (Member), Concern Worldwide (Young Ambassador), Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (Emerge Acquisitions Committee), Navy Seal Foundation (YP Planning Committee), PAWS Chicago (Volunteer), the Renaissance Society (Chicago Committee), UNICEF (Steering Committee, Chicago), and Windy City Playhouse (Board Member).
Sarah adheres to her mother’s adage that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and believes that the best insurance is taking the time to have a conversation about protecting the things that matter most to each client.
