What seems like a movie plot is instead playing out in Munich. German authorities seized over 1,500 modern art works from the Munich apartment of the 80 year old son of a German art dealer and former museum director. The works could be worth up to $1.6 million and include artists such as Picasso, Klee, Chagall and Beckmann. The still unfolding story has been well documented by the Guardian.
