The New York Times must have heard about our luncheon we co-hosted last week with Berkley One on Creativity, Collectibles and Fashion, although if they had they would have mentioned that Heritage Auctions is one of the largest aftermarket for the elusive Birkin Bag. Managing Director Kathleen Guzman gave us insight into the robust aftermarket for the Birkin. Until Hermes adopts demand based pricing they will continue to ration their output and have one of these aftermarket sellers snap it up from one of the “lucky” buyers. Click here to read more.
